Cristina Torres (maiden name Bonilla) was born on July 24, 1930 in Marfa Texas. She passed peacefully on January 25, 2020 at home in El Paso, Texas. She was 89 years old. Cristina is survived by her husband, Cipriano, of 70 years and their six children: Irma Norris husband Bill, Delia Gonzalez husband Alex, Victor Torres wife Elizabeth, Jaime Torres, Tommy Torres and Joseph Torres. She is also survived by grandchildren Mickey, Christina, Julie, Robert, Phillip, Aaron, Alex, Andrew, Victoria, Anthony, Tommy and Johnny, two sisters Aurora Hernandez, Dora De La Pina and one brother Abel Bonilla.
Most of her childhood was spent in Fabens, Texas where she married Cipriano Torres, and consequently moved to El Paso Texas where she raised her family of six children.
Cristina was a life long member of San Antonio Catholic Church where she participated in the Ladies Auxiliary.
Visitation will be Monday, February 3, 2020 from 5pm to 9pm with a vigil service at 7pm at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave. Funeral mass will be Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at San Antonio De Pauda Church at 1pm at 503 Hunter Dr. followed by interment at Evergreen East Cemetery.
