Daniel Corey Gonzales

Daniel Corey Gonzales 25, affectionately known as “Co”, was called home to be with the Lord, January 9, 2017. Corey was a sweet, caring young man. He often spent his time volunteering to help others in need. He found joy in selfless acts such as helping mend a fence, lending a helping hand, or giving time to the St. Vincent De Paul Society. He cherished his family deeply and no matter what he was going through personally, he always made family his priority. His diverse love of music, art, and nature gave him maturity beyond his years. His presence will always be felt and forever will he be missed. He is survived by his mother Elsa Noemi Gonzales, his father and step-mother Daniel Paul Gonzales and Yvette Gonzales, brothers Phillip J. Gonzales and Xander R. Gonzales, Godparents Daisy Margi Caballero Killpack and Timothy Gonzales, his maternal grandparents: Gonzalo and Alicia Caballero, Linda and Donovan Kroum, and paternal grandmother Bonita L. Gonzales. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Joe Gonzales. Corey was loved and survived by several wonderful aunts, uncles, cousins, step family, and friends. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 17, 2017 from 5:00P.M. to 9:00P.M. at Martin Funeral Home Central, 3839 Montana Ave. with the Vigil at 7:00P.M. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 2:00P.M. at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church. Interment at a later date.
