With deep love and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of David Earl Brant, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and loyal friend.
David was born in Somerset, Pennsylvania, to Juana Howard. Throughout his life, David found joy in the simple pleasures—spending time with his grandchildren, taking drives around town, and casting a line while fishing. He had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and could often be found enjoying nature’s beauty with the sound of classic rock or country music playing in the background.
David’s warmth, humor, and steadfast love for his family will be forever remembered. He is survived by his devoted wife, Iva Brant; his children, David and Betty; son-in-law Donny; and daughter-in-law Hayley. He will also be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren—Sophia, Brantley, Lynae, Paisley, Cayden, Malcom, and Amelia—who brought him endless joy and laughter.
David is also survived by his brothers, Donald (his twin), Robert, Douglas, Clifford and Earl, as well as his cherished nieces and nephews—Benny, Nadine, Valerie, Seth, Kaitlyn, Dustin and Orlando; his great-niece Addyson and his great-nephew Lucas.
David is preceded in death by his brother michael.
David’s life was one of love, loyalty, and adventure. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
