My condolences  to  the Saldaña Family.   I’m saddened to hear of the news. I’ll always have great memories  of  Emma.  May she Rest In Peace ! 

To my comadre Frenchie.  I’m in total shock. I just can’t believe it.  I want to thank you for everything that you did for Ivette and I. You were a great friend and Nina to Ivette and I. Your smile and laughter lit up any room you were in. You were always the life of the party.  So sorry I couldn’t pay my respects to the family since  I barely  was informed.  You were like a BIG sister to me. Always giving good advice and helping hand. You will be truly missed. Love you always.

Gus and Marina, your mom was like a sister to me.  Growing up together in El Paso we  shared many tears, laughter and good times. Our friendship was so dear to me.  Losing my best friend is hard to believe.  I will always cherish the beautiful memories. I hope you and Gus know I will always have you in my thoughts. I wish I could be there with the two of you. Gus and Marina.  I'm so sorry to hear of Emma's passing.  So many good memories growing up in the neighborhood.  I think Emma was every kids Mom in the neighborhood.  I know she always took me in like one of her own.  I'll never forget that.  

I'm sure she's up there pulling Martin's ears and telling him to settle down.

You were such a special lady. You had the best sense of humor, always had the family cracking up. You were caring and always looked out for others. One of the things I most admired, was your love for your family. It was inspirational. Thank you Tia for the wonderful memories, laughs and good times. Thank you for being so sweet to my Natalie.  As my brother said, thank you Tia for being there after our Mom passed. I feel as him, these last few years without her, you and Tia Edna have provided us a sense of comfort and love even if we did not see you in person. You are a part of my Mom and we are a part of you, a Family. I love you Tia.  - Gilly boy.

I will miss you so much. It was you that made it especially fun for All of us with your great smile and humor whenever we got together. Growing up...You showed me that it’s okay...in fact wonderful.. to enjoy life to its fullest. That was comforting. And you were comforting to me, Gil and Veronica when my mom and your beloved sister passed away. You made me feel special.  I’m so grateful for you and my Tia Edna because you two are a part of my mom that’s here. But now we can let you pass from here and be eternally happy. I know how truly special it is for you in heaven to reunite with those loved ones you missed so terribly much while here on Earth. Goodbye my beautiful and fun loving tia. I’ll miss you, thanks for teaching me about life and being the Aunt everyone would want. Say hi to Mom, and Sam..Grandma Elva and Grandpa George. I love you my Tia.

I will never forget the great things you have done for me and the family. When my grandparents moved to Denison and I wanted to stay in El Paso, you took me in for a semester to let me enjoy some more time with my friends at Burges HS. I am forever grateful for that. You will be missed by everyone as you were such a happy and fun loving person. You were the life of the party at get togethers.

My prayers are with all the family, as,we say so long to my tia.  I will always remember her laugh and beautiful smile. She had a great sense of humor and was always ready to help anyone. She always made people feel at home when they were around her. She was very down to earth and a people person,  she loved everyone and I respected that about her. The only thing I respected more about her was her love for Our Lord.  My tia showed me how to put my trust in God and that no matter how bad things may seem God's plan for us always prevail.
