Enrique Venegas passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at the age of 95. He was born in Guasti, California spent his childhood in Zacatecas, Mexico and lived most of his life in El Paso, Texas. He was a gentle soul who loved gardening and enjoyed being with family. He was preceded in death by his wife Victoria of 51 years. Enrique is survived by his children: Irma Torres (Fred), Enrique Venegas, Jr. (Linda), Victor Venegas (Gloria), Gustavo Venegas, Sandra Sariñana (Luis); 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He was lived by all and will be missed. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2023 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with Rosary/Vigil Service at 6 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home, 12400 East Montana, El Paso, TX 79938. Chapel Service will be Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 8 a.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home. Rite of Committal will follow at 9 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery East.
