Eric Daniel Salcedo, 52, passed away on September 18, 2016 in San Diego, CA, where he lived his life to the fullest, and left behind many friends who loved him. A veteran of the US Navy, Eric was proud of his service during the Gulf War, and of his 20 years of service with the US Border Patrol, Brown Field Station. Eric is survived by his parents, Victor and Amelia Salcedo, sister, Rebecca Orndorf (Bruce), brother Patrick Salcedo (Sheila), his longtime girlfriend and love of his life, Kim Smith, nephew, Adam Orndorf (Paola) and niece, Candice Orndorf-Beard (Andrew), along with great nieces, Olivia and Stella and great nephew, Sam. Visitation services will be held on Sunday, October 2nd, at Martin Funeral Home Central from 5:00-9:00 pm, with Rosary Prayer beginning at 7:00 pm. Funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2709 Alabama, on Monday, October 3rd, at 9:15 am, with interment to follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.
