Ernestina R. Amaya

Mrs Amaya was called into eternal rest on April 11, 2023.

Mrs Amaya retired from the EPISD at Zavala Elementary School as a computer clerk. She was a catechist at Our Lady of the Light Church for more than 50 years. Her faith gave her the strength to serve the Lord until her passing. Mrs Amaya’s love, wisdom sense of humor and compassion shall live Within the hearts of many lives she touched.

Preceded in death by her husband Alberto Amaya, parents Frank and Clara Rodriguez, sister Natalia Villalobos and brother Ricardo Rodriguez.

Mrs Amaya is survived by her son Albert and daughter Alice Amaya, sisters Manuela Enriquez, Monica Chavez and brother Frank Rodriguez.
