Esteban Telles age 89 passed away on February 5th,2026. He was born on April 7th, 1936, he lived as a proud Navy Veteran who retired from civil service after 23 years in Fort Bliss. He continued his legacy in the Chaparral community as an HVAC Technician in his Sheet Metal Shop.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Libia; siblings, Esperanza, Raul, Alfredo, Genaro and Cruz Telles. He is survived by his sons and daughters Lucy, Esteban, Cynthia and Joaquin Telles. Followed by 15 grand children and 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation for Esteban will be held Wednesday, February 25, 2026 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a vigil at 6:30 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave, El Paso, Texas 79903. Funeral mass will be Thursday, February 26th at 11:15 am at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 568 E. Lisa, Chaparral, NM with interment to follow in Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave. El Paso, Texas 79906; with military honors.
