Born and raised in El Paso. Frances was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Manuel (Tito) Davila, and all of her siblings. She is survived by her children, Graciela (Gracie) Garcia and Daniel (Danny) Davila; grandchildren, Crystal Garcia, Robert Garcia Jr., and Vero Davila; and great-grandchildren, Genesis Rivera, Kaylene Williamson, Evan Rivera, and Neveah Villalobos; as well as many other extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.
Frances was a woman of deep faith and a lifelong member of St. Pius Catholic Church, where she worked as a cafeteria lady. She will be remembered for her love of cooking, her joyful spirit, and her ability to bring people together. She especially enjoyed singing Mexican music, playing bingo and slot machines, and taking trips to Ruidoso, New Mexico—whether camping outdoors or visiting the Inn of the Mountain Gods.
She never left the house without being fully “done up,” always keeping her long nails painted her favorite color—red. Family and friends will forever remember her laughter, her wit, and her love for gatherings, especially meals at Chico’s Tacos.
