Our beloved aunt, Genoveva, departed from this earth peacefully at home surrounded by family, on Friday, August 8, 2025. She will be remembered for having led an adventurous life. After marrying Filiberto, they headed to El Paso from Chihuahua with less than $5 on hand. They decided to relocate from El Paso to Oregon State. It was there that they found success in business, establishing R & R Marble. Genoveva was preceded in death by her husband Filiberto Rodriguez and her beloved sister Consuelo Q. Macias. She is survived by nieces, Mary Veloz (Robert), Lucy Macias, Olivia Tarango; nephews, Julio C. Macias (Rosa), Richard Macias (Bertha); sisters-in-law as well as numerous other nieces and nephews. We will forever cherish the memories that they both left us. Forever in our hearts. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 20, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a Rosary at 11:30 a.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Evergreen East. Rite of Committal will follow at Evergreen Cemetery East.
