God called him home on March 19, 2023. He was born September 24, 1969.
Hugo was an exemplary and hardworking man. He worked at his family business, Rico’s El Mariachi Mexican Food for over 25 years. Hugo enjoyed spending time with family and friends always making everyone laugh with his infectious smile. Telling tall stories of his life and holding everyone captivated. He was always the life of the party. He was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast who loved to ride.
Hugo is survived by his sons Hugo and Sebastian Rico and three beautiful grandchildren; Madalyn, Noah, and Myles Rico. A trio of brothers who he immensely adored; Antonio Jr, Carlos, and Hector Rico, and his loving nieces and nephews.
Hugo was preceded in death by his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Cervantes and his mother Mrs. Maria Leonor Rico.
He will truly be missed! WE LOVE YOU VERY MUCH! Until we meet again.
A visitation for Hugo will be held Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a vigil at 7:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave, El Paso, Texas 79903. Funeral mass will be Friday, March 31st at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 602 S Oregon St., El Paso, TX 79901 with interment to follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery
