Irene Martinez

In loving memory of Irene Tejeda Martinez, born on February 26, 1932, and who departed from us on May 18, 2024. She is reunited in peace with her father, Trinidad Tejada Esparza, mother, Catalina Trejo, and brother, Guillermo Tejeda. Irene is survived by her 5 children: Alicia (Salvador) Pariente, Salvador (Alma) Martinez, Willie (Theresa) Martinez, Ruth MacGibbon, and Sonia (John) Foley, along with her 10 cherished grandchildren: Ronnica Noethlich & Pete Delgado III, Vanessa, Beatriz & Natalia Martinez, Stephanie, Ryan & Dillon Martinez, Siobhan Manzano & Jamie Obetz and 9 great grandchildren. Born in Longmont, CO, she moved to Villa Ahumada, Mexico at the age of 6. Irene cherished dancing, watching novelas, and dining out. Her love for music, especially live Mariachi, brought her immense joy. Irene's fondest moments were spent with her family, creating lasting memories filled with love and laughter. Irene was also a talented seamstress, showcasing her creativity and skills through her craft. Moreover, she was a phenomenal cook, known for preparing the most delicious Mexican dishes with unparalleled skill and love.

Family and friends may visit from 9 - 1pm on Thursday, May 30th, at FDA Evergreen Funeral Home East, 12400 Montana, El Paso, TX 79938 where a funeral service will be held at 1pm right after viewing. Burial to follow after 2:30pm, as we bid farewell to our beloved Irene Tejeda Martinez, celebrating her life and the love she shared with us all.
