Semper Fi Marine. May you guard and assist God in the streets of Heaven.  You will never be forgotten.

My first memory of Iris was seeing her at my grandmas house, her extremely long dark hair was beautiful. Although we were the same age she seemed wise beyond her years (we were both about 7). We lost contact over the years but remained close through our stories on Facebook. Rest easy prima, see you on the other side.

My heart broke when I heard the passing of my Marine Sister.  I served with Iris in Okinawa and will forever cherish our memories on Camp Hansen.  In all our conversations, it was clear she held family close.   I send my sincere condolences to her family, Amanda and Aaron, and all who knew her.

I am sorry for your loss. I pray you find strength in each other. Your mom was the first friend I made when we moved to El Paso. She was an amazing friend. She went out of her way to make sure our family was always included in your family get togethers or special occasions.  She made us feel like part of the family. She loved and cared about my girls even after we moved. She will be greatly missed.
