Iven Grier, 72, of El Paso, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025, in his home. Born in Millen, Georgia, on November 13, 1952, Iven spent 20 years as a custodian at Gadsden Independent School District and was known for his hard work and dedication.
Iven loved to garden, spend time outdoors, and cherishing time with his family. Iven leaves behind his wife, Gracie, his daughters Leah Grier and Sherry Reese, his brother and sister Raymond Grier and Mary Jane Anderson, his six grandchildren; Vyveka, Kaylee, Amir, Quintera Reese, Quintara Reese, Yasmine (Demetrice) Jones, six great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025 at 4:00 pm at Funeraria del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Avenue, El Paso, Texas. Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at 10:00 am at Saint Anthony Community Cemetery, N 4th St & Acosta Rd, Anthony, NM 88021.
