Jessie was an accomplished writer of poetry, winning countless contests with his work. He had a deep love for music and was often compared to Vince Gill. Known for his sweet disposition, Jessie touched the lives of many with his kind and gentle nature.
Jessie is survived by his parents, Catalina Cervera and Arturo Cervera; his sister, Sarah Natalie Heinlein, her husband Jon Heinlein, and their son, Jon Patrick Heinlein. He will also be dearly remembered by his godmother, Anita Luna; godfather, Albert Luna; and aunts, Mary Yolie Moore and Jen Rosales.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Evergreen East, located at 12400 East Montana, El Paso, Texas, 79938, on December 19, 2025, from 8:30 am to 10:00 am. A Vigil will commence at 9:00 am on the same day. The Memorial Mass will be held at St Frances Xavier Cabrini, 12200 Vista Del Sol, El Paso, TX, 79936, at 11:00 am.
Although he fell through the cracks of the legal system, Jessie's spirit has remained. He may be gone from this Earth, but he is now protected by God in heaven.
