Jonathan A. Gutierrez

Jonathan A. Gutierrez, 47, passed away August 30, 2013.Jon is survived by his wife (Selene) and two daughters (Irumi and Ileana), his dad (Joe Gutierrez), his 3 sisters (Mona, Donna and Amy), his 3 brothers (Joe, Jim and Tim), his (9) nieces and his (16) nephews , cousins and many other family members including 7 God children. Jon was surrounded by love his short life here on earth and will now be spending time in heaven with his momma Margie. He was the baby of 7 children and took absolute advantage of it. He was totally spoiled and he knew it. He was known for his dry humor and lite up the room. As he grew into a teenager, he learned to play the drums which soon became his passions in life and who could forget his love for his Dallas Cowboys. He graduated from Cathedral High School in 1984, attended UTEP and then went to work with his dad in the Kirby family business. Kirby became his life's work. He contributed to the community, St. Anthony’s being his favorite charity. Thank you, Jonny for blessing us with your wonderful life. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, September 5, 2013 with vigil at 7:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home-Central. Funeral Mass will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 6, 2013 at St. Joseph Church. Burial at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Services entrusted to Martin Funeral Home Central
