Juan N. Hinojos Jr.

John N. Hinojos passed away with his family by his side on Friday, April 1, 2016 at the age of 72. John was a resident of El Paso and a member of the Catholic Church. He was a retired teacher of EPISD. In his retirement years, John dedicated his time to Open Arms Community Church.

John is survived by his loving wife Yvonne and his four children, Bernadette Martinez, Genevieve Gomez (Raul), Matthew Hinojos (Annette), and Mark Hinojos (Recia), his seven grandchildren Evan Gomez, Juan Gomez, Alleeah Martinez, Abigail Hinojos, Madeline Hinojos, Melia Hinojos, Layla Hinojos along with his loving his sisters, Becky (Bobby) Betancourt, Cecy (Paul) Lewis, and Ana Castro. John is preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Genevieve Hinojos and his younger brother Mario Hinojos.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 pm on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Martin Funeral Home-Central with praying of the rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be at 9:30 am on Friday, April 8, 2016 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1050 N. Clark. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
