He was preceded in death by his Father Julian and Mother Juanita and 10 brothers and
sisters.
He is survived by his loving wife, Christine Louise Campos and three sons, Gabriel
Vincent Campos (wife Elizabeth Alexandra and grandchildren Patricio Julian and
Alejandra Juanita), Raul Julian Campos, Julian Javier Campos (wife Michell), brothers
Casemiro Campos and Petronillo Campos, and sisters Reyes Castillo, Carmen Vargas,
and half-sister Maria Santos Campos.
Julian left Mexico at an early age, but never forgot his family or where he came from.
He worked as a bartender/waiter making many friends at some of El Paso’s most
recognized establishments like Carlos and Mickey’s, The Cliff Inn Hotel and Restaurant,
the DoubleTree Hotel, and the VFW Club Post # 34. He was an avid sports fan. He
enjoyed reading books and the newspaper, exercising, playing handball and
racquetball. As he aged, his hobbies became table games, pool, and dominoes. At
night, he never missed his novelas. Julian’s happiest moments were when he spent
time with friends and family.
With his wife of 50 years, Christine, he raised their boys to embody his same values of
family, love, hard work, perseverance, honesty, loyalty and friendship; not only through
words, but through how he lived.
We are at peace knowing that Julian is in heaven, sharing drinks, stories and laughs
with those friends and family who went before him.
