Leonardo Marquez passed away on February 8, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albino and Carmen Marquez and all his siblings Albino, Jr., Carlos, Ricardo, Francisco, Raul, Gilberto, and Rosario.
Leonardo was born in Smeltertown in El Paso, Texas. He was an Army veteran. He worked at Ft. Bliss until retiring. He was a devote single Christian man and lived his final days at the Ambrocio Guillen VA home in El Paso. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, March 9, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a vigil at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave. El Paso, Texas 79903. Funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2709 Alabama St, El Paso, Texas 79930; with interment to follow in Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave. El Paso, Texas 79906.
