It is with great sadness that we announce that Manuel Lazos Sr., age 81, went to be with our Lord on March 3, 2021. He was born October 31, 1939 to Roberto Lazos and Ysidra Rivera. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Carmen Lazos and Josefina Ruiz.
He is survived by his children Manuel Jr. (Laura), Patricia L. Alvarado (Joe) and Daniel Lazos, his grandchildren Manuel M, Christopher and Matthew Lazos, his sister Bartola (Manuel) and brother Roberto. All of whom he loved and touched deeply.
Manuel for many years was the proud owner of The Optical Company. He was a member of The Moye’s Boys and donated his time making eyewear for those unable to afford them. He was a wonderful Father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He loved to dance and watch his Sci-fi documentaries. We will miss you very much.
Visitation will be held March 10, 2021, 4-8pm, Rosary service at 7pm at Funeraria Del Angel Central (Martin Central), 3839 Montana Ave. Funeral services will be held at 11am Thursday, March 11th at St. Marks Catholic Church, 11700 Pebble Hills. Interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park, 8700 Dyer St. Rosary will be livestreamed through Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/fdacentral/
