Margarita Hernandez, age 70, loving mother of 5 (Nancy,Carlos, Betty, Moises, Bobbi Jo) grandmother of 11, and great grandmother of 8. Besides her children, Margie is survived by her mother, Maria Elisa Torres, her siblings, several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Margie departed her family and gained her wings on February 24, 2022, with all her family at her bedside. She was an excellent cook as described by her children, and she loved eating delicious food. She always loved having everyone over for family dinners, making gorditas, flautas, enchiladas, mac & cheese! She was full of love, and never judged a soul. Her fierce red hair could be seen from a mile away. Somewhere up in Heaven sweet Margarita is enjoying her tortas and dancing away. She will be deeply missed until we get the chance to hug hello once again.
If roses grow in Heaven, please pick up a bunch for me.
Place them in Margarita’s arms and tell her they are from me.
Tell her that I love and miss her and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for a while.
Because remembering her is easy, I do it every day,
But there’s an ache in my heart that will never go away.
