Maria is survived by her daughter Maria Elena Schupman; her granddaughter Gilda Sotelo and her grandson Eric Matthews.

Maria was preceded in death by her husband Edmundo Felix Nunez; her son Mario Nunez; her twin daughters Luz and Eva Nunez; her mother Agripina M. Alvarado and her father Lorenzo Alvarado; her sister Irene Alvarado; her brother Ventura Alvarado; her brother Matias Alvarado; her sister Andrea Alvarado; her brother Enrique Alvarado; her brother Juan Alvarado; her sister Catalina Alvarado and her sister Antonia Alvarado.

Visitation for Maria Elena will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave. El Paso, TX. 79903. Committal service will follow on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Memorial Pines Cemetery, 3061 Memorial Pines Rd, Sunland Park, NM. 88063.
