While nothing was more important to her than her family, she and her husband were members of Los Lanceros Social Club and (weight watchers) TOPS CLUB for many years. Lola worked for and retired from the child nutrition program with El Paso School District at Bowie H.S. and the lunch program at El Paso Community College. She loved crocheting blankets for her grandchildren and tending to her yard, dedication to prayer and reflection of scripture with her prayer group and member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
Married to Jose Quintana for 57 years until his death in 1999. Lolita was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Norma Gonzalez, brothers, Silvino, Ramon, Jesse and Tony Alamos, sisters, Jesus Frias, Carolina Walker, and Anita Marquez.
She is survived by her children, Oscar Quintana and wife Sylvia; Javier Rene Quintana and wife Beatriz, Ruben Quintana and wife Olga and son-in-law, Humberto Gonzalez; grandchildren, Oscar, Frank, Jaime and Michael Quintana, Vivian A. Apodaca, Javier and Vanessa Annette Quintana. Monica, Stephanie and Christopher Quintana. Jessica Marrufo and 20 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 2, 2023 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM with a vigil at 7:00pm at Funeraria Del Angel-Central, 3839 Montana Ave. Funeral mass on Wednesday, May 3rd at 10:00AM St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment to follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery 401 S. Zaragoza.
