Beautiful Mother
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother Maria (Susie) de Jesus Vasquez of El Paso, Texas, who passed away peacefully on May 18, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. Our mother was born on November 19, 1939 in El Paso, Texas. She was a homemaker, and a mother to her children, countless grandkids, great grand kids and various family friends. Many called her “MOM” and those who did were privileged!
Our mother was born to Manuel Vasquez and Andrea C. Heras she is preceded in death by her grandparents Rito and Casimira Camarillo, father Manuel Vasquez and mother Andrea C. Heras, sisters Josefina, Martina, Gloria, Rosa, and Martha. She lived a life full of excitement, fun and enjoyed the hell out of life. She is survived by her 11 children: Rita Guardiola (Jesse), Bertha Vasquez, Irma Saldivar (Carlos), Carlos Alberto Vasquez (Missy), Edna Montes (Marc), Leticia Vasquez, Ricardo Vasquez, Margie Vasquez, Monica Alcantar (Jesus), David Vasquez (Guadalupe) and Raul Vasquez. Twenty grandkids and sixteen great grandkids. Three surviving siblings, Dolores Berge, Guadalupe Cordero and Eugenio Heras.
Our mother will be missed immensely and has left a void in our hearts!
There will not be a day that we will not think about you Madrecita.

I don’t know why it happened
No reason could suffice

Visitation will be Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a Vigil at 7:00 pm, at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave., El Paso, Texas 79903. Funeral Mass will be on Friday, May 30, 2025, at 10:00 am, at Our Lady of Assumption Church, 4805 Byron St., El Paso, Texas 79930, followed immediately by a Committal Service at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, 401 S. Zaragoza Rd., El Paso, Texas 79907.
