Maria lived a life full of love and compassion for others which included working as a nurse and then in a foster home caring for the elderly.
She was completely devoted to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and her faith in God and she dedicated so much of her life to prayer, sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Holy Bible with others, and doing God’s will here in Earth. She cherished her family and friends with all her heart and had the most beautiful and gentle soul that brought joy and comfort to so many lives. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, George David Wycoff, Jr., parents Rosendo Rivera Amaro and Juana Hidrogo de Rivera plus all of her siblings.
She is survived by several cousins and numerous nieces and nephews.
A rosary for Maria will be held Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 9025 Diana Dr., El Paso, Texas 79904. A memorial mass will occur Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 11:00 AM, 9025 Diana Dr., El Paso, Texas 79904. A committal service will occur Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, 401 S. Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, Texas 79915.
