Maribel is survived by son Marcus Aguirre of Fort Hancock, Texas; father Jaime Aguirre and mother Maria Aguirre of Fort Hancock, Texas; sister Beatriz Aguirre of El Paso, Texas, brother-in-law Jorge Estrella of El Paso, Texas, sister Elizabeth Utu of Weisbaden, Germany, brother-in-law Faimafili Utu of Wiesbaden, Germany, brother Jaime Aguirre Jr. of Odessa, Odessa and brother Andres Aguirre of Fort Hancock, Texas; nephew Eddie Estrella, nephew Anthony Estrella, nephew Osvaldo Estrella, niece Roselyn Utu and niece Leilani Utu.
