Martha Segovia, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister, passed away on September 10th, 2025 in El Paso, TX., at 60 years old, surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with illness.
Born and raised in El Paso, Texas, Martha graduated top 2% at Bowie High School, continued her education at the University of Texas at El Paso, and built a distinguished career as an investment banker with J.P. Morgan Chase.
She is survived by her husband, Arturo Segovia; daughters, Jennifer Seufert (Alexander) and Sydney Segovia (Jonus Ronquillo); granddaughter, Ava Seufert; mother, Paz Orquiz; and siblings, Frank, Ruben, Aaron, and Gisela Orquiz. She was preceded in death by her father, Francisco Orquiz.
To say Martha will be missed is too small. To be loved by her was to be protected, to be challenged, to be lifted. Her laughter, her loyalty, her fire, they will not fade. They live on in every life she touched.
The family extends their gratitude to all who stood beside Martha and them during her time of need.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. with a rosary at 11:30 a.m. followed by a scripture service at 12:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave. El Paso, Texas 79903.
