Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Louise Bohanon. She was born July 17, 1936 in her beloved hometown, El Paso, Texas.
Nancy attended Montana Street Church of Christ. She met the love of her life, JD (Doug) Erwin at church camp in 1950. Nancy and Doug were high school sweethearts and were married June 14, 1954. Doug and Nancy had 3 daughters, Leeann, Laurie and Lisa.
Nancy and Doug moved into their home on El Paso's Eastside in 1954. Nancy loved her home where she was able to live until her death.
Nancy loved her family. Her endearment to family showed as a Daughter, Sister, wife (for 68 years), a Mother, a Grandmother (Gamby) to 8 Grandchildren, and 14 Great Grandchildren.
Nancy joins her her beloved husband, parents, and her brother in Heaven.
She is also survived by her dear sister, Maryann Bohanon Deans, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends that became family.

There will be a celebration of Nancy's life February 2, 2024 at 11:00 am at Funeraria del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave., El Paso, Texas 79903.
