Our loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Neftali Diaz Rodriguez, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017 at the age of 87. He was born April 16, 1929 in Canovanas, Puerto Rico, and is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Lydia Diaz, his daughters: Nitza Colapret(Garry) and Damanis Diaz, grandchildren: Talia Singleton(Travis) and Giancarlo Colapret(Valerie), and great-grandchildren: Aria Singleton and Gabriel Colapret. He proudly served in the US Army for 30 years, was a Korean War Veteran, and Civil Servant for 10 years. In retirement, his time was spent racing his homing pigeons, caring for his land and loving his family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb 15 from 6-8pm at Martin Funeral Home Central, 3839 Montana Ave. Funeral service will be Thursday, Feb 16 at 12:30pm at Martin Funeral Home Central, followed by Interment at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at 2pm.
