Oralia Ines Contreras Morales

Oralia nació en el seno de una familia juarense formada por Don Jesús y Doña Josefina Contreras Morales, compartiendo su infancia con ocho hermanos. Desde temprana edad mostró un espíritu perseverante, cursando su educación básica y preparatoria en Ciudad Juárez, para después alcanzar uno de sus primeros grandes logros: graduarse como Licenciada en Administración de Empresas en la UACJ en 1982.

Ese mismo año, en octubre, unió su vida al Dr. Francisco Arturo Fierro, con quien formó una hermosa familia. En 1984 nació su primera hija, Oralia Isabel, quien siguió sus pasos en la docencia de educación especial, y al año siguiente su hijo Francisco, quien se convirtió en Ingeniero Eléctrico. Más adelante, la vida le regaló la dicha de ser abuela de tres tesoros: Nahum Gamaliel, Sarah y Eden.

Pero si algo definió a Oralia fue su fe y servicio a Dios. En 1987 inició su formación en Teología en diversas instituciones evangélicas, y desde entonces dedicó su vida a la obra del Señor. Fue miembro activa y participativa en la Iglesia Evangélica El Triunfo de la Cruz, donde sirvió como tesorera ejecutiva por muchos años bajo el liderazgo del Pastor Gerardo Bermúdez, creador de la emblemática frase:

“Cd. Juárez, La Biblia es la Verdad, léela”,

la cual define a Ciudad Juárez y El Paso, Texas.

En sus últimos años, Oralia continuó su ministerio en la Iglesia Filadelfia en El Paso, Texas, bajo la dirección del Pastor Gabriel Andavazo, desempeñando como Directora de Educación Cristiana hasta el último día de su existencia. Su compromiso nunca se apagó; su pasión por enseñar y guiar en la fe fue el legado que dejó a todos nosotros.

Hoy no solo recordamos a Oralia por lo que hizo, sino por lo que fue: una mujer íntegra, amorosa, generosa y fiel. Su vida nos inspira a seguir adelante con la misma entrega y convicción que ella demostró.

Que su ejemplo nos motive a vivir con propósito, a servir con amor y a mantener la fe que ella abrazó hasta el final.

Descansa en paz, Oralia. Tu luz sigue brillando en cada corazón que tocaste.

La velación se llevará a cabo el lunes 24 de noviembre de 9:00 am a 9:00 pm en Funeraria Del Angel Evergreen East, ubicada en 12400 East Montana, El Paso, Texas, 79938. El servicio de oración se realizará a las 6:00 pm también en la funeraria. Todos los servicios fúnebres concluirán la misma noche.

Oralia was born into a family from Ciudad Juárez, formed by Don Jesús and Doña Josefina Contreras Morales, sharing her childhood with eight siblings. From an early age, she showed a persevering spirit, completing her elementary and high school education in Ciudad Juárez, and later achieving one of her first great accomplishments: graduating as a Bachelor in Business Administration from UACJ in 1982.

That same year, in October, she united her life with Dr. Francisco Arturo Fierro, with whom she built a beautiful family. In 1984, her first daughter, Oralia Isabel, was born, who followed in her footsteps in the field of special education teaching, and the following year her son Francisco, who became an Electrical Engineer. Later, life blessed her with the joy of being grandmother to three treasures: Nahum Gamaliel, Sarah, and Eden.

But what truly defined Oralia was her faith and service to God. In 1987, she began her theological studies in various evangelical institutions, and from then on dedicated her life to the work of the Lord. She was an active and committed member of the Evangelical Church El Triunfo de la Cruz, where she served as executive treasurer for many years under the leadership of Pastor Gerardo Bermúdez, creator of the emblematic phrase:

“Cd. Juárez, La Biblia es la Verdad, léela”, (Cd. Juárez, The Bible is the Truth, Read It),

which defines Ciudad Juárez and El Paso, Texas.

In her later years, Oralia continued her ministry at the Filadelfia Church in El Paso, Texas, under the direction of Pastor Gabriel Andavazo, serving as Director of Christian Education until the very last day of her life. Her commitment never faded; her passion for teaching and guiding in faith was the legacy she left to all of us.

Today, we remember Oralia not only for what she did, but for who she was: a woman of integrity, loving, generous, and faithful. Her life inspires us to move forward with the same dedication and conviction that she demonstrated.

May her example motivate us to live with purpose, to serve with love, and to keep the faith she embraced until the end.

Rest in peace, Oralia. Your light will continue to shine in every heart you’ve touched.

Visitation will be Monday, November 24, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 6 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Evergreen, 12400 E Montana Ave, 79938. All services will conclude after the visitation.
