Percy Rico Santos I

Percy is a beloved father, son, grandson, brother, uncle, and nephew. He is a cherished friend to all who knew him. Percy Rico Santos I, born January 19, 1997 in Guam, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2024, at the age of 27 in El Paso, Texas. He was a beloved son to Deborah M and Percy R Santos, a beloved brother to Tasha, Tamara (deceased), Tanisha & EJ, Tiara, Tisha & Peter, Taekayla & Marin, Tamiah, Tianalyn, Preston, Taylor, Xjavior, & Issiah. He was a beloved grandson to his Paternal Grandparents; Francisco B Flores, Marie W Flores, & Dolores C Garcia. Maternal Grandparents; Margarita M Mendiola & David M Santos.

Percy was known for being a jokester, his epic dance moves, art, warm smile, compassionate nature, and unwavering spirit. Despite facing significant health challenges, he approached life with a strength and grace that inspired everyone around him. His memory will be forever cherished by his family and friends, who will remember him for his kindness, courage, and the joy he brought into their lives.

A visitation will be held in Percy’s honor on August 21, 2024, from 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel - Evergreen East, 12400 E. Montana Ave., El Paso, Texas 79938. A Rosary/Vigil Service will take place at 11:00 AM during the visitation.

Percy’s legacy of love and bravery will live on in the hearts of all who were privileged to know him. He will be greeted at the gates of heaven by his sister Tamara N Mendiola and his son David Rico Santos. May he rest in eternal peace.
