Randy lived passionately, loving his family, friends, work, and, of course, the Dallas Cowboys with unwavering devotion. Those who knew Randy knew he didn’t do anything halfway. He showed up fully, whether that meant working hard on the jobsite, cheering for his team, or making sure the people around him felt seen and valued.
A fighter in every sense of the word, Randy faced life’s challenges with grit and determination. But alongside that strength was his playful spirit. He was a goofball at heart and was quick to dance without hesitation, crack a joke at just the right moment, or turn an ordinary gathering into something unforgettable. His laughter was contagious, and he had a gift for bringing lightness into a room.
Randy was admired for his strong work ethic and humble nature. At Colorado Crete, where he worked for many years, he earned the respect of his coworkers not only as an exceptional professional but as a loyal friend who would lend a hand without being asked and offer encouragement when it was needed most.
Family served as Randy’s foundation. His most cherished memories include long nights in Juarez with his parents, siblings, cousins, aunts, and uncles, sharing stories, teasing, and enjoying each other's company around the fire pit. Randy was the family jokester and a constant comforting shoulder to lean on, truly holding a special place in the hearts of everyone who knew him best.
More than anything, Randy loved his children deeply. As a father to six boys and one daughter, he was committed to being present, to doing better, and to giving them memories they would carry for the rest of their lives. They were his pride and his purpose.
Randy’s bright smile and open heart had a way of turning strangers into friends and friends into family. He will be remembered for his loyalty, humor, resilience, and the immense love he had for those closest to him.
Randy is survived by his sons, Isaiah, Denzel, D’avian, Dezmond, Qendriq, and Julian; his daughter, Tahira; his parents, Rafael and Maria del Consuelo; and his siblings, Johnny, Wendy, and Rachely. He is also lovingly remembered by his many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. He is reunited in eternal peace with his grandparents, Juan and Mercedes Hernandez, Cayetano and Natividad Barraza, and other dear loved ones.
Services to honor Randy’s life and legacy will be held on February 16, 2026, at Evergreen East Funeral Home with visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by burial and an evening celebration of life at The Barn Venue. In honor of Randy’s love for the Dallas Cowboys,
