Ricardo Cordova

Ricardo Cordova joined his wife Maria Trinidad Cordova on Nov. 21, 2020 at the age of 91. He is survived by his son, Robert (Vene), grandson Jose Ricardo, granddaughters Adriana (David) & Alex (Melissa), and 3 great-grandsons Andrez, Alec and Mateo and great-granddaughter Chloe.

Ricardo was employed as a meat cutter for Food Mart & Piggly Wiggly for many years and in 1974 he and his business partner opened the first Quality Food Mart Grocery store at the corner of Alabama and Wheeling in north central El Paso. They eventually grew the business to include 7 separate grocery stores throughout El Paso. Ricardo retired and enjoyed his coffee with his friends of many decades at various restaurants in central El Paso.

Virtual Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Funeraria Del Angel Central via Facebook live (https://www.facebook.com/fdacentral/) beginning at 9:00 AM . Interment at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.
