I remember meeting Mr. Herrera when my wife and I were invited to their house for Thanksgiving by Tony Herrera. We had a great time meeting and talking with the family and I especially remember listening to Mr. Herrera's stories of when he was in the US Army during the Korean War. As our conversation grew I too shared my experiences when I served in the military. I really don't talk much about that but Mr. Herrera made me feel comfortable talking about it, I felt at ease and I greatly thank him for that. My wife and I had a wonderful time at Mr. and Mrs. Herreras home. It was one of the best Thanksgivings ever. I will carry that memory with me forever. Thank you for your service Mr. Ricardo Herrera.

My deepest and most sincere condolences to the Herrera family. Cousin Richie is lovingly and fondly remembered as always being so happy and joyful. Our family sing-alongs with Richie on the guitar are cherished memories. Richie will keep all the angels and saints singing in heaven.

My Cherished Memory of Cousin Ritchie:
I loved hearing his stories of when he used to work in California serving meals to the Movie Stars- Loved hearing his stories! Ritchie also used to call my daughter Adrea- "the little red haired girl " from Charlie Brown- Adrea served as Ritchie's son Joe's flower girl in his Wedding as well as Tony Herrera's goddaughter.  Thank you for the memories Ritchie! Until we meet again

Grandpa we love you very much. You were the best grandpa anyone could ask for and you will always be in our hearts. We will miss you.  From your grandchildren with lots of love, Ricky and Rachel.
