Velia Coss Dominguez, born September 20, 1936, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. Velia is survived by her daughters, Elia Castillo, Marcela Bolivar, and Adriana Zubia; grandchildren, Erika Castillo, Teodoro Castillo III, Kristina I. Bolivar O'Brien, Gabriela Gonzalez, Lizet Castillo Lerma, Manuel Bolivar, Jr., Amanda Moreno, and Marco Antonio Gonzalez; great grandchildren, Jaelyn A. Lopez, Noah D. Moreno, Zaelyn R. Zubia, Auguste A. Zubia, Ezekiel G. Moreno, Xenia Martinez, Xander Martinez, Amare Zubia, Dahlia E. Bolivar O'Brien, and Zelia Lerma; sisters, Lydia Chavez, Amanda Mendoza, and Gloria Pierce; brother, Jesus M. Salas. "Through the strongest of storms or the softest of breeze when we listen to the wind, we will always think of you". Visitation will be Thursday, July 27, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home, 12400 Montana Ave., El Paso, TX 79938. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, July 28, 2023 at 9 a.m., at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 1700 George Dieter Dr., El Paso, TX 79936. Rite of Committal will follow at Desert View Cemetery in Chaparral, NM.
