Yolanda Ramos

Our loving mother passed away September 23, 2014 surrounded by her family. A life long resident of El Paso, she was a tireless worker, from the birth of her first child at a very young age until her retirement from the EL Paso Independent School District. She loved to travel, was once a diva on the dance floor, and kept up with current events and had her opinions about how they should be settled. Above everything else, the love and care of her children and grandchildren was her passion.

Her brothers included Raul Munoz, Nicolas Munoz, Adolfo Munoz, and Armando Munoz. She had one sister, Aurora Valles.

She was also the matriarch of an extended family that included, her children, Carlos Ramos III (Sylvia), Roberto J. Ramos, Leticia Leal, Carlos Ramos (Sandra), Monica Ramos (Luis), her grandchildren, Carlos Ramos IV, Yvette Switzer, Roberto Jaime Ramos, Jr., Roberto Andres Ramos, Cassandra Telles, Gavin Ramos, Tristan Ramos, Luke Ramos, J.J. Ramos, Aniza Ramos, and Jacob Ramos, and her beloved nieces and nephews, Guadalupe Delgado, Raul Munoz, Jr., Carmen Ricci, Yolanda Saenz, and Joe Munoz.

We will miss you, Mother, but you leave behind many wonderful memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Siempre contigo…. Visitation from 5:00pm to 9:00pm Friday, September 26, 2014 at Martin Funeral Home Central with a 6:00 pm Rosary. Graveside Service will be 11:00 am, Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Restlawn Cemetery.
