Bobby Isaac Boatright

Bobby Isaac Boatright, 79, of Apopka, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2016. Born in Carrollton, Georgia, he moved to Apopka in 1998 from Orange Park, Florida. He retired as a Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy after serving his country for over 22 years. Bobby was a very active member of Real Life Christian Church in Mount Dora where he volunteered his services by maintaining the lawn for over 5 years. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Elizabeth G. "Betty" Boatright, Apopka, FL; daughter, Cheryl D. (David) Fletcher, Winter Garden, FL; brother, Douglas M. (Jimmie) Boatright, Marietta, GA; 2 sisters, Mary Ella Lyle, Carrollton, GA, Edith G. Boatright, Carrollton, GA; granddaughter, Anastasia Fletcher; 3 nephews, Michael Lyle, Kevin Lyle, John G. Boatright; and many great-nieces & great-nephews. Services will be held at Real Life Christian Church, Mount Dora on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at a later date at Jacksonville National Cemetery, Jacksonville, FL. Memorial donations may be made to Cornerstone Hospice, 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778.
