Anna F. Harrington

Anna was born in McLean County, KY on October 27, 1934 to Wavie and Laura Frances (Bush) Bartley. She worked at Shane Manufacturing, Vessell Trim, and at Deaconess in housekeeping, where she retired. Anna loved spending time with her family and enjoyed gardening. She was a lifelong member of Melody Hill Free Methodist Church.

Anna is survived by her sons, John "Jay" W. Harrington (Debra) and Franklyn Allen Harrington (Janis); her daughter, April Denise Doran; brothers, Larry Dale Bartley and Otis Wayne Bartley; brother-in-law, Franklin Harrington; sisters-in-law; Francis Isbell and Alberta Conway; 16 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Anna is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, John Leonard Harrington in 2010; her parents; sisters, Virginia, Vera, and Mary Agnes; and by her brothers, James Robert, Mac, Wavie, John, and Tommy.

Friends may visit from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Monday, September 21, 2015 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN, 47711.

Private entombment will be held at Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery.
