
Beatrice J. Fisher-King of Katy, Texas, formerly of Evansville, died June 21, 2013, at the age of 81 years.
Beatrice was born on June 19, 1932, in DeKoven, Ky. She retired from Pinkerton Security Services in 1991, where she received accommodations for outstanding service. She attended church at the House of Prayers in Evansville, of which she was a member for many years. She greatly enjoyed her family and her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, with family picnics at Burdette Park being one of her favorite activities.
She was preceded in death by her spouses, Hugh King and Robert Fisher; and daughter, Ramona Fisher.
Beatrice is survived by her sons, Robert W. Fisher, Ricky A. (Barb) Fisher and Randall W. Fisher, all of Evansville; daughters, Pamela K. (Roger) Rapp of Katy, Texas, and Catherine G. Cara, of Evansville; sisters, Lorene Shreve, of Morganfield, Ky., and Jean Groves, of Boonville; brothers, Charles McKendree, of Evansville, and William McKendree, of Spring Haven, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 5, 2013, at Alexander Memorial Park Chapel, officiated by Rev. Alfred "Happy" Lott.
