Beverly Ann Mitchell

Beverly was a member of First Christian Church of Evansville and served as Church Secretary for 25 years, retiring in 1999. She was a member of the Homebuilders Class, the Women's Council and she also served as a Youth Sponsor. She was a Brownie, Junior and Cadet Girl Scout Leader and Cub Scout Leader. She and her husband, Donald, traveled extensively in their RV after their retirement, on their own and with the Carriage Travel Club of Indiana. They served as Secretary/Treasurer and Area Coordinators of the Indiana Club.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Kara Mitchell.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Donald G. Mitchell; two sons, Danny (Karen) Mitchell of Evansville and Randy (Connie) Mitchell of Ringgold, GA; two daughters, Janet (Steve) Wilson of Evansville and Nancy (Mike) Neely of Chatham, IL; four grandsons, David (Jill) Mitchell of Godfrey, IL, Christopher Mitchell, Brandon and Cameron Wilson of Evansville; four Granddaughters, Bethany (Kyle) Alt of Willowbrook, IL, Emily and Ashlan Rose of Chatham, IL and Veronika Mitchell of Evansville and two great grandsons, Benjamin and Levi Mitchell of Godfrey, IL.

Visitation will be from 2:00 - 8:00 pm Monday August 11, 2014 at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave., Evansville, IN 47714.

Funeral service will begin at 10:00 am Tuesday August 12, 2014 at the funeral home with Rev. Jerry Clark officiating.

Burial will be at Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery.

It was Beverly's wish that memorial contributions be made to the New Church Fund of First Christian Church, 2845 Beaumont Dr, Evansville, IN 47725, in lieu of flowers.
