Bruce Wayne Davidson, 61, of Evansville, passed away at St. Mary's Medical Center surrounded by family when his soul went to be with Jesus on Saturday, October 6, 2012. He was born October 26, 1950.

Bruce was a Crane Operator at Henry Fleigaltaub until his illness.

Bruce never met a stranger and his greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends. His faith in Jesus gave him the strength he needed during his time of illness.

Bruce was preceded in death by his father, Richard Davidson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Janice (Murray) Davidson; two daughters, Sherry Bartholome (Brian) and Stephanie Elkins (Blake); five grandchildren, Amanda, Dillon, Shelby, Huntter, and Charles; two great grandchildren, Khloe and Ashlyn, mother, Violet Davidson; sister, Diane Morales (Gilbert), brothers, Rick Davidson (Kay), William "Bill" Murray.

Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 10, 2012, at Alexander West Chapel, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Tuesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family would like to give a sincere and special thanks to Dr. Ahmed, Dr. Hall and staff, and to Unit 6300 nurses at St. Mary's Hospital.

Burial arrangements under the direction of Alexander Memorial Park.
