Donald Harry Anderson

He retired in 1993 as a Teamster Driver for Industrial Contractors and served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a member of Boonville Assembly of God and Calvary Temple. He enjoyed working at the food bank at church and was a bus driver for the West Side Assembly of God. He was a loving and giving father.

Donald was preceded in death by his daughter, Deborah Schumaker; granddaughter, Tara Dawn; and great-grandchild, Larry Chaffin.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Shirley (Paceley) Anderson; son, Donald (Beth) Anderson of Evansville; daughters, Donna Kelley (Kenneth Willard) of Lynnville and Doris Hughes of Odon, IN; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Robert (Jackie) Anderson of Evansville; and brother-in-law, Robert (Lisa) Paceley of South Dakota.

Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, June 14, 2014, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Kristopher Brown, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
