Donald L. Chagle, 81, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Monday, October 1, 2012 at Heritage Center. Donald was born in Evansville, Indiana on July 9, 1931 to the late Frank and Marie (Adams) Chagle. Don grew up in Evansville, Indiana. After graduation from high school Don attended Lockyear's Business College. As a young man he attended Emanuel Presbyterian Church and later Bethany Baptist Church. He has been a faithful member of Christian Fellowship Church. Don retired in 1986 after 35 years of service at Bartlett Auto Parts. After retirement, he received his real estate license and his auctioneer license. In 1990, Don and his wife Shirley founded, from their basement, WBGW, "We Broadcast God's Word" radio station, which is now "Thy Word Network". This radio station was the center of his life these past 22 years. A man of faith, Don was loved by all who knew him especially his family. Donald is survived by his son, Randall Chagle (Kimberly); grandchildren, Kelsey Chagle and Trevor Chagle all of Evansville, IN. Donald is preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Shirley L. (Sterns) Chagle in 2011; his parents and his only sibling, a brother, William "Bill" Chagle in 1951. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 5, 2012 at Christian Fellowship Church, 4100 Millersburg Rd., Evansville, IN with Rev. Spencer Downs officiating. Entombment will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday, October 4, 2012 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN. Service:

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 5, 2012 at Christian Fellowship Church, 4100 Millersburg Rd., Evansville, IN with Rev. Spencer Downs officiating. Entombment will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery.
