Dorothy Mae Lawson

Dorothy was born February 17, 1930 in Evansville to the late Frank and Carrie (Mahrenholz) Lehr. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ on West Michigan Street. She was a graduate of Centennial Grade School and F.J. Reitz High School.

Surviving Dorothy are two sons, Kenneth (Amy) Lawson of Layton, UT and Scott (Mary) Lawson of Paducah, KY; five grandchildren, Jacob Lawson, twins, Samantha and Jessica Lawson, Alicia Burnette and Zachary (Taryn) Lawson and four great grandchildren, Bailey Burnette, Gabriel Bird, Quinn Lawson and Luke Lawson.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Lawson, Sr. and by a brother, Robert Lehr.

Funeral services for Dorothy will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Pierre Funeral Home, Rev. Dr. William Wassner officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until service time on Tuesday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street.
