Louis E Fisher

He was a member of St. Lucas United Church of Christ. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He retired from Arkla Corporation where he worked his entire career. Louis belonged to the Hadi Shrine and was a member of the Masons for over 50 years. He was a member of the American Legion. He loved playing golf and going to Reitz football games.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Augusta Fisher; sister, Carolyn Cross; and brothers, Leroy and Forest Fisher.

Louis is survived by his wife of 67 years, Margie; daughters, Christine Zimmerman, Linda Rader, Barbara Cruise; sisters, Betty Schoenbachler, Gail Matthews; grandchildren, Jason Zimmerman, Amy Cerajewski, Brian Cruise, Kevin Cruise; and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be 10:00 AM, Friday, August 13, 2013, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Lynn Martin with burial at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Thursday, 2-8 PM, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hadi Shriners Children's Hospital.
