Margaret was born in Evansville, Indiana on December 16, 1918 to the late Otto Edward and Bertha
Catherine Menner. She worked at Sears in Evansville and went on to work at JCPenney in St. Louis.
Margaret enjoyed bowling, quilting, and playing Clabber. She was a member of VFW Auxiliary #1114
and the Legion of Mary at Holy Spirit Church where she faithfully attended.
Margaret is survived by her daughter, Patricia Milton of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Christopher
Milton, Russell Milton (Mary), and Pamela Talley (Kevin); great-grandchildren, Maddie, Paige, Eva and
Gracie Talley and Bethaney and Rhen Milton; and many nieces and nephews.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Paul O. Grant; sister, Dorothy Clutter;
brothers, Charles and Robert Thompson; and by her parents.
A celebration of Margaret's life will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 25, 2017 at Browning
Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711 with Father Pascal Nduka officiating. Burial
will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Browning Funeral Home
and again from 9:00 AM until service time on Friday.

care and compassion.
