Ruth E Phillips

Ruth retired from Target in 1999 after working for the company for 32 years. She was a member of St. Benedict's Cathedral as well as the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary and VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her parents Michael and Anna (Birk) Zeller, 11 siblings, father of her children Cecil G. Williams, her son-in-law Richard Morris, Sr. and grandson Derreck Morris.

Surviving are daughter, Saundra Morris of Evansville; son, Terry Williams of Tennyson, IN, daughter, Tammy Roney and husband Dean of Copley, OH; grandchildren , Angie Will and husband Bryan, Shawn Williams, Terry Williams, Jr., Richard Morris, Jr. and wife Julie, Lauren Roney; great grandchildren, Mallorie Will, Nicholas Will, Lilly Williams and twenty-one nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2:00 - 8:00 Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Ziemer Funeral Home North Chapel, 6300 First Avenue, Evansville, IN as well as 9:30am - 10:00 am Friday, August 2, 2013. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Benedicts Cathedral at 10:30 am, Friday August 2, 2013 with Father Godfrey Mullen OSB officiating.
