Sylvester Groeninger

Sylvester Groeninger, 85, of Evansville, IN passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at Park Terrace Village. He was born on October 26, 1933 to the late Fred and Wilhelmina Groeninger. He was District Manager for many years at Red Bird Oil. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling and going to auctions. He always had an annual yard sale. He was preceded in death by his Wife Rowena W. (George) Groeninger. Sylvester is survived by his sons, Michael Groeninger (Teresa), and Dan Groeninger; daughters, Carol Armstrong and Sylvia MacLaughlin (Rob); grandchildren, Bryan, Jayme, Jenny, Justin, Brad, Stuart, Rylie and Evan; 4 great grandchildren ; companion Anita Greathouse. A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Alexander Memorial Park Chapel of Remembrance Officiated by Celebrant Carrie Hatchett.
