Terry M. Axton

Terry M. Axton, 72 passed away, Monday, May 27, 2013 at Deaconess Hospice in Evansville, IN. He was born March 24, 1941 in New Harmony, IN.

He retired from State Group Industrial after 42 years of service as a Quality Assurance and Quality Control Manager. He enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marsha Grigsby Axton.

Terry is survived by children, Mitch Axton (Pat), Rocky Axton, Teresa Lona (Mike), Kent Axton (Rhonda), Michael Bledsoe (Carla), Jennifer Sorensen (Steve), Terri Marrs (John); grandchildren, Amy Axton, Cheston Axton, Andrew & Tyler Vergeson, Charlie Johnson, Dillon, Jakob, Hunter Axton, Ashley & Zachary Bledsoe, Evan & Jillian Sorensen, Aaliyah Marrs; and 3 great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2:00PM Friday, May 31, 2013 at Alexander West Chapel with burial in Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit, Thursday, May 30, 2013, from 3:00PM until 8:00PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Deaconess Hospice, 600 Mary Street, Evansville, IN 47710.
