

Skip was a great person with a big personality. After graduating from Reitz High School in 1988, he worked for Thomas Farms and Tekoppel Block. He had a passion for farming and loved to spend time with his friends. Prior to his cancer diagnosis, he was very involved in racing vintage stock cars which he built with his dad.
Skip was preceded in death by his father, Tom Lacer.
He is survived by his mother, Glenda Lacer; sisters, Jenny Parker (Randy) of Mount Vernon and Trenny Odom (Greg) of Evansville; nephew, Cody Parker; nieces, Tara Parker and Kelsey Odom; aunts, Genell Debes, Deanna Cannon, Laurie Lacer and Peg Stephens; uncle, Marvin Stephens; several cousins and special buddy, Julian.
Visitation will be from 2:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday November 19, 2014 at Ziemer Funeral Home Central Chapel, 626 N First Ave., Evansville, IN 47710.
Funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm Thursday November 20, 2014 at the funeral home with Rev. John Krieg officiating.
Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
